What You'll Do as a Release Manager & QA Lead:

In this dynamic role, you'll be the hero behind smooth product releases and ensuring everything we deliver is top-notch. You'll take the reins on our regular release schedule and work with talented teams to make sure every release is seamless, on time, and free from any hiccups.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-     Own the release process, ensuring each one hits the mark and exceeds quality expectations.

-     Collaborate with cross-functional teams (like Product, Development, and QA) to plan and execute flawless releases.

-     Craft and implement forward-thinking release strategies, covering testing and deployment.

-     Set and uphold quality standards while leading and mentoring a small but mighty team of QA engineers and testers.

-     Dive into manual QA tasks, helping to create and refine strong test plans.

-     Work with stakeholders to prioritize and squash bugs.

-     Track progress, spot potential risks, and ensure everything stays on track.

What You Bring:

-  Proven experience in release management or as a QA lead in a software environment.

-  Strong grasp of the software development life cycle and release management processes.

-  A solid understanding of testing methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. You won’t need to configure these systems yourself, but knowing how they fit into the process is key.

Description

This position has the responsibility of improving site automation technologies including production equipment and building automation. This position will provide design, programming and troubleshooting support of automated controls to plant services department for plant engineering, construction and maintenance work. Duties & Responsibilities

·         Support small capital and expense projects ensuring sustainable growth of site automation technologies.

·         Maintain building automation system including lifecycle management, modification and troubleshooting.

·         Working with automation team, research and evaluate potential automation projects to determine feasibility. Provide data and proposals to management to determine investment strategy.

·         Act as automation contributor on large capital projects.

·         Support day to day site automation and controls needs, minimizing production loss. Produce CAPA plans to prevent future occurrences.

·         Research new technologies, gain competency and train others after implementation.

 

Requirements

·         Relevant bachelor's or associate degree Computer Science, Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college is preferred.

·         With relevant bachelor's degree no experience is required

·         With relevant associate degree, a minimum of three (3) years in engineering or similar discipline

·         With a HS degree/GED, a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in engineering or similar discipline

·         Understanding of low voltage controls (relays, safety circuits, drives, etc.)

·         Understanding of devices and interface technologies (sensors, IO modules, fieldbus and networking)

·         Understanding of basic mechanical design methods and techniques

·         Understanding of PLC programming including ladder, function block and structured text. RSLogix experience is preferred.

·         Understanding of building automation systems. Siemens Insight or Desigo experience is preferred.

·         Understanding of HMIs/SCADAs. FactoryTalkView experience is preferred.

·         Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing in a cross functional team.

·         Good project management and organizational skills.

Our company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Lafayette, IN.

Profile: The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for capital improvements and assisting with production uptime.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: The Electrical Engineer within AEX requires technical and interpersonal skills essential to teamwork.  Major duties include but are not limited to:

·         Working closely with production and maintenance to upgrade existing equipment.

·         Performing repairs.

·         Installing new machinery.

·         Supporting day-to-day operations by acting as a resource for skilled trades and contracted services.

·         General duties for the Electrical Engineer include but are not limited to:

·         Managing capital investment projects including the design, budget proposals, scope, and specifications.

·         Maintaining and managing control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems in the plant.

·         Assisting in production with identifying efficient and sustainable improvements to production centers.

·         Assisting maintenance with equipment and control system troubleshooting.

·         Implementing automation designs to improve safety, reliability, and reducing down time.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution

·         A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar environment

We're moving heavily toward establishing a non-organic growth path and need a Director of Marketing. We have a global team of 60+ people. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Director to lead our marketing department and develop growth strategies through product and digital marketing, offline campaigns, paid ads, and tradeshow placement.
