Our client’s division is currently seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC) - 2nd Shift. This position is based at our Syracuse, New York facility with core hours of 2:30pm to 11:00pm.  The hourly rate for this position is $32.07 per hour. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Tear down, determine extent of troubles, repair damaged electrical or mechanical mechanism or replace worn or defective parts and reassemble following standard and prescribed safety regulations.

  • Need a basic understanding of PLC logic and machine programming (Mcode/Gcode)

  • Adjust equipment to required specification and check to assure effective operation. 

  • Check sequence of machine cycle, determine type of machine malfunction, make all necessary repairs applying machine repair theory along with electrical theory.

  • Perform electrical test operations. 

  • Work from complex schematic diagrams, manuals and testing procedures. 

  • Troubleshoot all defective printed circuit assembly boards. 

  • Perform similar or associated electrical or mechanical duties as directed.

  • Detect and report all unusual cases to proper supervision.

What you’ll do:

  • Setup and operate NC and CNC machines and any conventional machines in the Casting Cells to perform a variety of turning, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, threading, forming, facing, milling, slotting, grooving, chamfering, serrating and deburring operations to produce a variety of explosion-proof parts of various materials 

  • Operate machines include, but are not limited to, single spindle and multi-spindle drill presses and tappers; milling machines; parts washers; and deburring grinder 

  • Refer to assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and machining blueprints to maintain tolerances. 

  • Set controls and perform other manual data input functions as required, review operation data sheets, parts program, tape readouts and prints, and change collets and/or chucks; load and unload parts; load, unload and adjust tools as necessary

Profile: The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for capital improvements and assisting with production uptime.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: The Electrical Engineer within AEX requires technical and interpersonal skills essential to teamwork.  Major duties include but are not limited to:

·         Working closely with production and maintenance to upgrade existing equipment.

·         Performing repairs.

·         Installing new machinery.

·         Supporting day-to-day operations by acting as a resource for skilled trades and contracted services.

Responsibilities

Pay Range

$111,000.00-$166,400.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.   Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. 

The Senior Electrical and Controls Engineer provides Electrical Controls Engineering for the implementation of Manufacturing Controls Systems Support and Capital Projects for the Milan, OH Facility. The position will have a wide range of roles including being an internal consultant on electrical systems to a hands-on project manager or leader in implementing electrical control projects.

This role will be responsible for developing, scoping, coordinating, justifying, implementing, and managing from start to finish a broad range of industrial electrical and control system manufacturing projects.

Your Day to Day:

  • Ability to perform power, electrical control systems engineering for all aspects of projects.

  • Prepares and reviews technical electrical specifications for equipment and processes projects.

  • Assist facility with manufacturing operations as well as execution of electrical safety initiatives.

  • Provide project management and oversight for all aspects and phases for multiple project assignments concurrently and driving projects to completion.
