Summary: Manages sales activities of the organization by selling our products and services as defined by management to “food” customers/ prospects in a geographically defined region. This position will be responsible for developing and enhancing desktop database applications using C#, WPF and Microsoft SQL Server. The Developer will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to develop, maintain and support desktop applications used by the Claims Department within our GUI Framework, as well as back-end processes/services that support the front-end customers, through rapid prototyping and high frequency iterations of potential solutions.

 

 

Responsibilities

·        Support and maintenance of existing desktop WPF(Windows Presentation Foundation) applications

·        Provide data access and analysis by developing SQL objects, including stored procedures, views, etc.

·        Design, develop, and deliver new features and maintain the existing WPF applications per specifications supplied by project managers and business leads

·        Create functional code from design specifications for new development, enhancements or maintenance projects

·        Create and deliver documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts

·        Follows and helps to establish architectural standards

·        Analyze production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue and determine the necessary course of action for resolution

·        Develop test plans, prepare test data, and document results for unit, integration and QA testing

·        Plan and facilitate deployment and support with infrastructure team

 

·        Skills and Experience Required

·        Extensive experience with C# for modern and legacy applications

·        Minimum 5 years’ experience using SQL Server, writing and debugging stored procedures

·        Minimum of 5 years of experience using WPF

·        Experience in developing and consuming web services along with enterprise integration

·        Experience working in entire development lifecycle for an application, including both back-end and front-end development

·        Experience with SQL Server 2016 or later, Visual Studio 2015 or later, Microsoft Office 2013 or later, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012R2 or later

·        Use of Agile Development Methodology (Scrum preferred)

What you will do:  

·        You will be based out of Baltimore, MD service center 

·        Practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.

·        Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors 

·        Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and handle the repairs 

·        Troubleshoot equipment failures both in-house and on customer locations and handle repairs

·        Change oil and fuel filters and properly dispose of the old filters. 

·        Off-load equipment from trucks upon termination of rentals with use of overhead cranes 

·        Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and handle the repairs 

·        You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment on the job site 

 

We are experts, which means you will have the following skills and experience: 

·        High School diploma/GED or Equivalent years of experience 

·        1-3 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs

·        Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics 

·        Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card 

·        Valid driver’s license
