Join a team of experts as a DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer where you’ll play a key role in developing, integrating, and sustaining mission-critical systems for the intelligence community. This is a dynamic role for a technical professional looking to make an impact through automation and innovation within a multi-tenant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate and optimize processes within a Windows and Linux-based environment.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and/or Microsoft PowerShell.
- Support the deployment of microservices via a DevSecOps pipeline.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers.
- Maintain and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
- Provide technical guidance and support for developer testing and deployments.
- Conduct security remediation based on scan results.
- Create and maintain comprehensive DevOps documentation.
Required Skills:
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph or active TS/SCI with willingness to obtain Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field, plus 8+ years of experience (or Master’s with 6+ years).
- Security+ Certification or higher.
- 2-3 years of experience with Kubernetes (preferably OpenShift or EKS) and Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux administration.
- Knowledge of custom code development and GitLab functionality.
- Experience with AWS services (CloudFormation, S3, ECS) and serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway).
- Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based architectures.
- Familiarity with team collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Skills:
- AWS Certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
- Experience with AWS Lambda, ECS, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Linux certifications.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting and deploying Docker containers.
