Key Responsibilities: 

- Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Redhat/Oracle Linux systems (physical and virtual). 

- Deploy infrastructure through automation, utilizing tools such as Ansible, Kickstart, Podman, and Puppet. 

- Implement and maintain security controls compliant with DoD security frameworks and RMF (Risk Management Framework) requirements. 

- Integrate Linux and Windows systems into a unified Active Directory Domain. 

- Design, create, and manage containers within Linux and Windows environments. 

- Support RMF compliance by integrating security principles into system builds from the ground up. 

- Use CI/CD and DevSecOps tools to automate, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise-level applications. 

- Leverage LDAP for Linux IDM and Windows environments to ensure seamless integration.

 

Preferred Skills & Experience: 

- Hands-on experience with testing and integration tools such as Jenkins, Jira, and Bitbucket. 

- Linux certifications such as RedHat (RHCSA or RHCE) or CompTIA Linux+ are a plus. 

- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (KVM), backup systems (NAS, SAN, iSCSI), and microservices, including Docker containers. 

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments with previous DoD and government customer support experience.

 

Qualifications: 

- Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience or a Graduate Degree with 7+ years. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience is required. 

- Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+). 

- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.
