Front End Technical Architect

Location: Hybrid, London

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a Front End Technical Architect to work on the front-end of our Remote Gaming Platform (RGP). The RGP delivers world-class games and a rich set of capabilities for a superior gaming experience. Deployed in multiple jurisdictions, it integrates with operators worldwide, providing content to millions of players.

 

As a product-led organization, the role involves owning the technical direction of various products and capabilities, working closely with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders. You will contribute to defining the future state of our platform and help development teams deliver value efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Own the technical roadmap, long-term vision, and final solutions for front-end projects.

- Provide guidelines and technical support to ensure high-quality solutions.

- Assist with problem analysis, resolution, and provide high-level estimates.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture functional/non-functional requirements and address regulatory, security, and compliance concerns.

- Perform technical comparisons with competitor solutions.

- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills.

 

Requirements:

 

- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience with websockets, HTML, and CSS.

- Experience with front-end frameworks like React and Angular.

- Knowledge of Python.

- Front-end security experience, particularly with CORS and Content Security Policy headers.

- Experience with network routing and web server technologies such as Nginx and Envoy Proxy.

- Familiarity with on-premise S3 object storage solutions such as Minio or Zenko Cloudserver.

- Good understanding of container technology and Kubernetes.

- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio, particularly its use of the Envoy proxy.

- Critical thinking skills to resolve live issues promptly.

- Experience with API design and system integration (REST, RPC).

- Continuous delivery/integration and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Experience with public cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Back End Java Developer

Position Overview: 

As a Java Developer focused on Third Party Integrations (TPI), you will be part of an agile team working on expanding and enhancing a Remote Gaming Platform (RGP) that sets new standards in the online gaming industry. You will collaborate with QAs, Product Owners (PO), and Technical Architects (TA) to develop innovative solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality features for millions of users globally. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with both internal and external game development teams to integrate their games into the platform.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Collaborate within an agile development team focusing on TPI to solve unique problems and develop innovative solutions.

- Work closely with QAs, PO, and TA to ensure high-quality feature delivery.

- Facilitate integration of internal and external game development teams' games into the platform.

- Proactively identify and address inefficiencies to champion continuous improvement.

 

Requirements:

 

- Proficiency in server-side core Java 8+ development.

- Experience with NoSQL databases, e.g., MongoDB.

- Strong knowledge of the Spring framework and core libraries.

- Familiarity with REST and WebSockets communication protocols.

- Commitment to testing best practices, including unit and integration tests.

- Experience with Maven and GitLab.

- Proven experience with third-party integrations (TPI), enhancing product capabilities and user experience.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and management.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture for developing scalable and independently maintainable services.

- Proficiency with Elastic Search, and familiarity with Kibana and Grafana for data visualization and monitoring.

- Skills in performance testing (e.g., Perftest).
