 Overview:

As an Electronic Technician, you will provide comprehensive maintenance for electronic equipment, ensuring the reliable operation of machinery. Your responsibilities will include preventive maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, and production machinery. You'll also contribute to process improvement and problem-solving teams.

 

 General Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.

- Strong background in electronics.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CMMS, Excel, etc.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.

- Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

- Ability to read and interpret precision measuring devices.

- Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Must pass written and hands-on certification tests.

 Primary Job Tasks:

- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical methodologies.

- Perform routine maintenance, including field fault analysis, instrumentation calibration, and component replacement.

- Repair electronic and digital equipment, including AC/DC motors and controls.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical components of production equipment and systems.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC equipment.

  • Use of common maintenance hand tools and specialty tools to repair and maintain equipment.

  • Maintain plant lubrication program to properly lubricate and maintain all plant equipment within specified standards.

  • Maintain compressed air, condensate, chemical transfer, water, sanitary waste, natural gas, HVAC and other support systems throughout the manufacturing plant.

  • Maintain manufacturing equipment in a desirable manner to achieve target key performance indicators within each department.

  • Work closely with maintenance other personnel to achieve manufacturing objectives.

  • Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance related to all processing equipment; experience with high and low voltage electrical.

  • Maintain proper inventory levels of all manufacturing supplies; ordering parts and supplies to maintain equipment.

Qualifications

  • 2 year-technical degree, associate degree, or equivalent manufacturing experience with maintenance of mechanical and electrical components in food manufacturing is preferred.

  • PLC Troubleshooting knowledge.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Windows based programs.

  • Familiarity with basic processing equipment and calibration requirements.

  • Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • Ability to understand technical records and communicate technical data.

  • Ability to work independently or within a group with minimal supervision.

  • Working knowledge of GMP, FDA, SQF and other regulatory requirements helpful.

You will:

Overview:

 

Responsibilities:

 

The Maintenance Technician performs preventitive maintenance tasks and day to day repairs on equipment, systems and building configurations. The Technician operates, maintains, monitors and repairs stationary steam, chilled water, and plant consisting of fire tube boilers, electric centrifugal chillers, steam turbine centrifugal chillers, HVAC equipment and associated physical plant equipment and controls. The technician is expected to manage their tasks in a self-directed approach utilizing the computerized work order system and communicate with leads and managers. Additional duties as assigned by management. 

 

Day shift hours 7am3:30pm with Weekend rotation required

 

 

MUST HAVE BOILER ROOM AND HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE
