About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Sales team in the ANZ region. The Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for generating and developing new sales leads to feed the sales pipeline, which will then be passed on to the Account Executives and Sales Directors.
The ideal candidate will become an expert in lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying leads—critical elements of the sales process. This role offers the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced sales environment and provides significant career growth potential in a rapidly growing SaaS company.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Nurturing: Qualify and nurture inbound leads generated through various channels such as web, trial systems, seminars, and conferences.
Sales Engagement: Make initial contact with prospects to identify decision-makers, understand their business needs, and recommend next steps.
Prospect Identification: Identify high-potential prospects and transition them to the appropriate sales representative.
Collaboration: Work with inside and field sales reps to develop a target list of accounts to pursue on a quarterly basis, supporting the business plan.
CRM Management: Effectively utilize the lead management system and adhere to documentation and tracking processes.
Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's products/services and how they compare to competitors.
Achieve Metrics: Consistently meet or exceed monthly individual sales targets.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in sales or business development.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
Highly self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, and flexible.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Positive attitude with a desire to work in a rapid-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
