Our Corporate Group team is looking for a talented Senior Endpoint Engineer skilled in architecting, building, and supporting endpoint solutions. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, this is a fantastic opportunity to design secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for managing all endpoint devices across our global organization. In this role, you will enhance and simplify the end-user experience, working on a hybrid schedule from East Aurora, NY.

 

What You’ll Bring: 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering or a related discipline.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Intune and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for managing endpoints.

- Expertise in OS deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting (Windows/macOS).

- Strong knowledge of hardware and driver management.

- Familiarity with browser management and security for Chrome and Edge.

- Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation.

- Knowledge of device compliance policies, conditional access, and Windows Autopilot.

 

What You’ll Do: 

- Design and implement OS deployment solutions, hardware management, and secure browser configurations aligned with our security standards.

- Lead the deployment and maintenance of Windows OS across devices, ensuring security compliance and optimal performance.

- Drive effective hardware and driver updates to support seamless functionality.

- Implement enterprise-level endpoint management with Microsoft Intune and SCCM, including patch management and application distribution.

- Automate tasks and processes using PowerShell, Python, and other scripting tools to enhance efficiency.

- Collaborate with security teams to uphold endpoint security standards, including encryption and endpoint monitoring.

- Monitor and optimize endpoint health for an exceptional end-user experience.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutions successfully.

A direct report to the Director of IT Operations, the IT Systems Administrator position provides technical support and maintenance of infrastructure hardware and software; system monitoring and escalation; problem determination and resolution.   This position requires a wide range of desktop and infrastructure knowledge, including but not limited to computer hardware, mobile devices, networking, printers, security, software, storage, and telecommunications.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Essential Functions: Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator include but are not limited to:

  • Implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and decommissioning of infrastructure components such as: Network, Security, Servers (Windows/Unix), Software, Storage, Telecommunications.

  • Development, testing, and lifecycle management of end-user workstations and infrastructure servers, using SCCM to manage OS images, software updates/patching, and hardware asset management.

  • Management and support of MS O365 and Active Directory.

  • Backup, Group Policy, data recovery, and security management.

  • Mobile device management.

  • Identification and remediation of underlying infrastructure issues and problems.

  • Participation in SOX and license/software/hardware management activities.

  • Providing support for the Service Desk team to identify, diagnose, and resolve user and system issues.

  • Participation in cross-functional activities including the creation and monitoring of operational metrics.

  • Assist in the creation of user training material, and presentation during user training classes when required.

  • Participation in the creation, documentation and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience supporting a MS Windows environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in a prior IT role, such as Desktop Support or Helpdesk, with:

  • Active Directory management.

  • The MS O365 suite of tools.

  • Scripting and automation with PowerShell.

  • SCCM or other software management tool implementation, deployment, and management.

  • Backup software and processes.

  • Printer management.

  • Mobile device management technology such as AirWatch.

  • Telecommunication tools such as Zoom

  • Proven ability to provide high level support and management of technology platforms.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at same time.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

  • Relevant industry certifications preferred.
