Key Role:
In this role, you will spearhead the management, administration, support, and enhancement of cloud environments, ensuring continual improvement and swift problem resolution. Leveraging advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and comprehensive industry knowledge, you will devise innovative solutions to intricate challenges. Operating with minimal guidance, you will mentor and oversee team members to foster growth and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, deploying, and securing software architectures within Cloud computing environments, particularly AWS.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in administering, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise or government IT systems or networks.
- Proficiency in researching, evaluating, and testing Cloud computing and virtualization systems or products utilized by federal agencies or commercial industry.
- Proven track record of working with AWS or Azure in production environments.
- Experience across the full software or systems development lifecycle, spanning requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and implementation.
- Competence in administering both Linux and Windows servers.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and technologies.
- Ability to automate provisioning and configuration of Cloud-based environments.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Service, or Information Systems.
Additional Qualifications:
- Familiarity with version control systems for code management and artifact tracking, including SVN, Git, and JIRA.
- Knowledge of federal IT and Cloud security policies, including FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD Cloud SRG, and proficiency in their application to Cloud security architectures.
- Understanding of systems integration methods, frameworks, and configuration management processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- AWS Certification.
Clearance:
Selected candidates will undergo a thorough security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Top Secret clearance is mandatory. Secret clearance is mandatory.
