What you’ll do:

The Field Service Engineer will report to the Service Centre Manager and will carry out maintenance and repaid of our Power and Temperature Control Fleet on customer sites.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

·        A service per SWI

·        B service as per SWI

·        Be able to carry out control equipment replacement and parameter change

·        Multi generator synchronizing, servicing and maintenance

·        Minor and major repair of all fleet

·        Unloading and loading of vehicles

 

Temperature Control

·        A service oil fired heaters and boilers as per SWI

·        Repair of all MC fleet

 

QHSE

·        LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) used

·        Reports all near misses and any incidents

·        Up to date on all QHSE topics

·        Complies with PPE and site rules

 

The duties described above cover the focus of the role, however from time to time you may be required to carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business. This may include but is not limited to Field Based Servicing or Delivery duties as and when the need arises.

 

Who we’re looking for…

 

You will have a mechanical and or electrical background preferably with technical capabilities in power and ideally temperature control. A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent is also desirable. Alternatively, if not qualified to the above, individual must have good grounding in mechanical engineering and be willing to undertake any training provided to attain these qualifications. You must also hold a full, clean, and valid driving license and be able to work out of hours as and when required and be part of the on- call rota. For all field roles – offshore work is required so individual must be trained or willing to be trained.

 

You will have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to work under pressure to deliver tasks on time, and to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail regardless of situation.
