Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced VP of Enterprise Architecture to lead our enterprise architecture team and drive the strategic implementation of architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise architecture, a strong ability to evaluate and integrate technologies, and a proven record of overseeing architecture roadmaps, budgets, and team leadership.
This role requires excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills to align architecture strategies with business objectives and drive innovation within the organization. A TOGAF certification is required to ensure the application of best practices and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute architectural strategies to align with business goals.
Lead high-performing teams of architects and engineers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Provide architectural guidance across core technologies, systems architecture, and security techniques.
Cultivate relationships with senior leadership, IT management, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Oversee the development and communication of architectural blueprints and roadmaps.
Innovation and Technology
Research and analyze emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate cutting-edge solutions.
Evaluate and select technology partners to enhance organizational capabilities.
Foster innovation and adopt methodologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Enterprise Collaboration
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to facilitate clear communication and collaboration.
Collaborate on strategic planning sessions to integrate technology into business plans.
Align technology roadmaps with business vision and goals.
Operational Oversight
Deliver architectural initiatives to drive revenue growth and improve efficiency.
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of technology solutions.
Establish performance metrics to measure the success of technology initiatives.
Technical and Project Leadership
Design and oversee the implementation of integrated systems, ensuring scalability and alignment with business needs.
Provide architectural direction to enterprise, business, and solution architects.
Develop architectural metrics and reports for executive leadership and IT management.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of leadership.
TOGAF certification (mandatory).
Expertise in overseeing architecture roadmaps, budgets, and team management.
Strong knowledge of development tools, methodologies, and emerging technologies.
Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
Experience in aligning technology initiatives with business goals in large-scale organizations.
Strong project management skills and experience with cross-functional teams.
Work Arrangement
This role offers a hybrid work model based in Oklahoma City, OK. Candidates must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided) or reside within commuting distance.
