Job Description
Exciting opportunity to work with Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare companies selling custom thermoformed packaging and device capabilities.
Coordinates all direct sales activities relative to current and prospective accounts found within assigned area of responsibility. Maintains regular contact with accounts to grow existing business and to seek out new product and service opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Experience with Enterprise selling. Establishes contacts/connections within multiple layers of medical manufacturing (Engineering, Management, Quality, Operations, Procurement, etc.)
· Project Manager/Key point of contact from design to production.
· Manages a long sales cycle. Develops sales funnel to level out peaks and valleys.
· Prepares and maintains updated account plans for major accounts and prospective accounts.
· Implements and coordinates activities relative to each account plan and monitors each plan for effectiveness
· Assist with development of Supply Agreements and terms to ensure extended partnership.
· Monitors closely all activity at each customer and prospective customer location and reports on expansions, closings, business trends, and all other factors impacting volume levels.
· Develops and maintains CRM data on prospective customers found within assigned area of responsibility.
· Maintains detailed customer files (share, relative quality, relative price, specifications, contacts, competitor, etc.) on an ongoing basis.
· Manages account profitability and makes pricing recommendations as appropriate.
· Seeks out and promotes new product and service offerings
· Provides sales projections for products and customers within assigned area of responsibility for use in developing sales budgets.
· Investigates promptly and accurately customer complaints and coordinates the resolution of these complaints to the complete satisfaction of these accounts.
· Prepares QBR for top level/high volume customers.
· Assists division marketing with trade shows, conventions, and trade association meetings as requested.
· Stays abreast of current selling techniques and makes every effort to constantly improve product knowledge and knowledge of the marketplace.
